scouted. are excited to work once again with a private property development and investment firm with a mandate to continue growing their presence along the Eastern Seaboard, after a stellar 2025. Specialising across the industrial and logistics sectors, this group have experienced rapid growth in the last few years, and now require an Assistant Development Manager to support the Senior Development team members. This role has been created due to a new project acquisition and the immediate focus will be working on the early stages of a large-scale greenfield Industrial subdivision, before supporting the broader team through Built Form Delivery right through Completion.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting the development team in planning, design and delivery of all development projects as well as preparation of feasibility studies
- Preparation of consultancy agreements, and management/co-ordination of project consultant teams during the development application and documentation phase
- Preparation of Monthly internal PCG report preparation and external Investment Committee Papers, and attend on-site builder PCG meetings and report on project status, issues and risks to the Development Team
- Provide support to the Asset Management and Leasing Team with leasing enquiries, submission presentations, commercial negotiations and legal documentation
- Supporting the internal and external project managers during pre-development and delivery phases, whilst building strong client and stakeholder relationships
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in related Property discipline, there will be a bias towards Civil Engineering or Construction qualifications.
- Minimum 2-3 years of property industry experience in ideally the Land Subdivision or Industrial Development - similarly to the above point, this role will heavily favour Civil Engineering, or any ADM/Construction experience in the Residential Land Subdivision market.
- Financially numerate, strong commercial acumen and ability to work across multiple projects
- Hard-working ethics/mentality and ability to be flexible with the role's demands
- Someone looking to diversify their experience and gain exposure, end-to-end, across the whole development cycle
