What’s the brief?


You’ll be joining a purpose-led, industry super fund undergoing significant transformation, where people and culture are central to delivering on strategic growth ambitions. This is a true end-to-end Business Partnering role within a high-performing P&C team, supporting two evolving business units across a workforce of just over 200 employees.

 

The environment is fast-paced and change-heavy, shaped by growth, structural shifts and regulatory complexity. The culture is collaborative, accountable and delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on partnering with leaders to navigate change, uplift capability and embed ways of working that support long-term success.

 

You’ll be working closely with an experienced and supportive leadership team, with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence at scale.

As a key member of the People & Culture Business Partnering team, reporting to the BP Manager, you will partner closely with senior leaders across Group Risk and Strategy & Growth to deliver on both strategic and operational people priorities. This is a hands-on role with real breadth, from coaching leaders and managing complex ER/IR matters through to supporting organisational design, engagement and performance cycles.

 

You will need to flex your approach depending on leadership capability, providing more hands-on support in some areas while enabling autonomy in others. This role suits someone who enjoys working in ambiguity, builds credibility and trust with senior stakeholders and is comfortable balancing strategy with execution.

 

What you’ll be driving


  • Strategic business partnering with senior leaders to align people strategy to business objectives and transformation priorities.
  • Leading organisational design and change.
  • Managing complex ER/IR matters end-to-end within an Enterprise Agreement environment, including union considerations where required.
  • Coaching and uplifting leadership capability to support a strong, leader-led culture.
  • Leveraging engagement data and insights to drive meaningful action planning and improve employee experience
  • Supporting performance, remuneration and calibration cycles to drive consistency and outcomes.


What sets you apart

 

  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience within financial services, professional services or similarly corporate environment.
  • Strong ER/IR capability, including end-to-end case management, investigations and consultation processes.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with clear, commercially grounded advice .
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery.
  • Adaptable, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Organisational Psychology or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
