🤸Day to day

This role sits at the intersection of payroll, systems, compliance, and transformation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation of Workday Go and acting as a key payroll stakeholder throughout the project
  • Assisting with payroll configuration, testing, data validation, and migration activities
  • Working closely with implementation partners to ensure a successful go-live
  • Managing the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider
  • Investigating payroll issues and conducting root-cause analysis
  • Supporting employee payroll enquiries and resolving payroll-related matters
  • Interpreting awards and ensuring payroll compliance across a diverse workforce
  • Identifying payroll risks and recommending improvements
  • Producing payroll, workforce, and compliance reporting
  • Improving payroll processes and helping build scalable systems for future growth

  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Experience working with payroll, HRIS, workforce, finance, or operational data
  • Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Interest in payroll compliance, awards, and employment legislation
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or system implementations highly regarded
  • Exposure to Workday, Elmo, or payroll platforms is advantageous
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
