What's the brief?
You'll be the supporting complex employee and industrial relations matters across a large, highly unionised workforce, partnering with leaders to navigate enterprise agreements, disputes, investigations and workplace risk.
This is a hands-on role where you'll become the go-to expert for the organisation's most complex matters, representing the business in Fair Work Commission proceedings, building trusted union relationships and helping leaders confidently navigate challenging workplace situations.
The next 12 months will be particularly exciting, with multiple Enterprise Agreements being implemented across the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role ensuring successful rollout, compliance, stakeholder education and operational adoption.
Reporting to an experienced Workplace Relations leader, you'll have the autonomy to manage complex matters end-to-end while contributing to broader workplace relations strategy, capability uplift and process improvement initiatives.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
You're a genuine Workplace Relations professional.
The kind of person who enjoys interpreting complex Enterprise Agreements, navigating difficult employee relations matters and finding practical solutions that balance legal compliance with operational realities.
You build credibility quickly, can hold firm boundaries when required and know how to influence stakeholders without creating unnecessary conflict.
You're equally comfortable representing an organisation in the Fair Work Commission, facilitating a training workshop for leaders or negotiating solutions with union representatives.
Most importantly, you're collaborative rather than combative. You understand that the best workplace relations outcomes come from strong relationships, practical thinking and a focus on resolution rather than escalation.
