What's the brief?
We're partnering with a fast-growing, tech-enabled business to find an experienced P&C Manager who can take ownership of the operational People function as the organisation enters its next phase of growth.
This is the most senior People & Culture role in the business, partnering directly with the CFO, CEO and senior leadership team across a global workforce spanning Australia, New Zealand, the US, Philippines and Canada.
It's a hands-on role. You'll be across everything from contracts, performance management and employee relations through to policy, compliance, organisational design, HR systems and payroll oversight.
The business has grown quickly and now needs someone who can bring greater structure and consistency to the way People processes operate without adding unnecessary complexity or slowing things down.
There's also some chunky project work ahead, including improving and consolidating HR systems across the group and continuing to build the People foundations needed to support further growth.
You'll work closely with an internal Talent Manager who owns broader recruitment, allowing you to focus heavily on the operational HR remit while still overseeing senior recruitment and broader workforce planning.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
You're an experienced HR Manager or senior People & Culture generalist who still genuinely enjoys being hands-on.
You're comfortable being the person people come to with the tricky stuff – whether that's a performance issue, employment contract, policy question or an employee matter where there isn't an immediately obvious answer.
You don't need to know everything off the top of your head, but you know how to find the answer, assess the risk and come back with a practical recommendation.
You'll be confident working directly with senior leaders, including a dynamic founder-led leadership team, and comfortable challenging thinking when required.
You'll also enjoy environments that are still evolving. Rather than expecting every process to already exist, you're happy building the structure, policies and consistency the business needs as it grows.
Most importantly, you're commercial, pragmatic and human in your approach. This is a tech-forward environment, but they still want People advice to feel like People advice.
