  • HR Coordinator
  • $107,000 - $117,000 (including super)
  • Fixed-Term Contract, 5 months (potential for extension)
  • Melbourne | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

👋 Who are we?

Our client is a growing organisation in the renewables development space, with a team of around 150 people and a strong focus on building a positive, people-first culture. Their People & Culture team is tight-knit, collaborative, and genuinely enjoys working together - balancing a relaxed, supportive environment with a strong drive to deliver.

With exciting projects underway and a busy period ahead, they’re looking for an HR Coordinator to jump in and help keep things running smoothly while the senior team focuses on strategic initiatives.

😊 Who are you?

You’re someone who thrives on being organised, proactive, and one step ahead. You enjoy the operational side of HR and take pride in making processes seamless - whether that’s coordinating interviews, preparing contracts, or ensuring new starters feel set up for success.

You don’t need to know everything, but you do need the right mindset: a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to take initiative. You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks, picking up new systems quickly, and working both independently and as part of a team.

🤸 Day to day

No two days will look exactly the same, but you’ll be across the full HR lifecycle, including:

  • Coordinating recruitment processes - scheduling interviews, managing calendars, and ensuring references are completed
  • Preparing employment contracts and handling HR documentation
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end
  • Updating employee records and systems (Employment Hero)
  • Supporting HR administration including letters, changes, and compliance documentation
  • Assisting with key projects like engagement surveys, compliance initiatives, and policy reviews
  • Supporting multiple active roles (currently 4, with potential to grow to 7)
  • You’ll work closely with senior HR leaders and play a key role in keeping the People & Culture function running efficiently.

🧰 What’s in your toolkit?

Must-haves:

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Admin role
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to learn systems quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative mindset and great communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

Around 3 years’ HR experience

  • Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS
  • Exposure to employment contracts and HR documentation
  • Recruitment coordination or talent acquisition support experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across the full HR function, work alongside experienced leaders, and contribute to meaningful projects - all within a supportive and down-to-earth team. With a 5-month initial term and potential for extension, it’s a great role for someone looking to step up, build capability, and make an impact quickly.
