This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join a supportive HR team and play a key role in delivering recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, reporting, and people initiatives across the organisation.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while helping to create an outstanding employee experience.

You're also highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets, producing reports, identifying trends, and supporting business decisions through accurate HR and workforce data.

You'll likely bring:

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role
  • Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, ideally Employment Hero
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting and data analysis
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret HR and payroll data and present meaningful insights
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation (NZ exposure advantageous)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to supporting people and culture initiatives


🤸 Day to Day

This is a broad and varied HR role where no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned roles
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes, including probation administration
  • Maintaining induction schedules and supporting employee training initiatives
  • Supporting annual performance review and talent management processes
  • Coordinating employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs
  • Administering incentive and reward programs
  • Managing employee records and employment documentation through Employment Hero
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HRIS and employee administration queries
  • Preparing HR reports and workforce data, including headcount, attrition, salary review, incentive and compliance reporting
  • Producing regular HR metrics and workforce analytics using Excel and HRIS reporting tools
  • Supporting HR policy updates and people initiatives
  • Assisting with payroll administration and reporting requirements
  • Supporting HR projects and broader people and culture activities


🧰 What's in your toolkit?

  • Experience in HR coordination, administration, or people operations
  • Strong HRIS capability, ideally Employment Hero
  • Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practice
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential) including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting and data analysis
  • Strong reporting, data management and analytical capability with the ability to interpret workforce data and produce meaningful insights
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
