What’s the Brief?

We’re partnering with a Victorian statutory authority that helps protect the quality and safety of education across the state. They register educators, accredit teacher education programs, and investigate professional conduct matters to ensure high standards across the teaching profession. With around 160 employees, the organisation is big enough to make a genuine impact across Victoria, while still maintaining a collaborative, purpose-driven culture.

Right now, their People & Culture team is evolving - moving from a traditional HR model to a more strategic business partnering function, with investment in systems, processes, and team growth. It’s a great time to join and help shape how recruitment works going forward.

Is This Your Perfect Match?

You’re a hands-on Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys partnering with hiring managers and improving how recruitment is done. You’re proactive, comfortable in evolving environments, and confident managing recruitment end-to-end across professional roles. You likely have experience in internal recruitment or TA partnering, and you enjoy finding smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Your Impact

You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment across the organisation, supporting around 9 active vacancies across policy, legal, investigations, and corporate functions.

Your role will include:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to drive recruitment outcomes
  • Sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates
  • Supporting interview panels and candidate assessments
  • Providing guidance on structured recruitment and best practice hiring
  • Improving manual, form-heavy recruitment processes
  • Increasing effective use of the Springboard ATS
  • Proactively engaging with leaders on upcoming hiring needs

Your Toolkit

  • Experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • A proactive mindset and ability to improve recruitment processes
  • Experience hiring professional services roles (policy, legal, corporate etc.)
  • ATS exposure (Springboard helpful, but not essential).
