Responsibilities
- Lead and grow engineering teams of 10–50+ engineers across multiple squads or product areas
- Own the full engineering delivery cycle — planning, execution, quality, and release
- Build and maintain engineering culture: hiring, onboarding, performance, and career growth
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to align technical roadmap with company goals
- Drive cross-team technical decisions while keeping the focus on people, not just architecture
- Define and improve engineering processes: agile practices, code review culture, incident management
- Report to C-level / founders and contribute to company-wide strategy
Requirements
- Currently an Engineering Manager or Team Lead with direct people management experience
- Strong developer background (Frontend, Backend, or Full-Stack) as you have written the code
- 1–3 years in a people leadership role
- Full-stack understanding: comfortable discussing frontend, backend, infra, and product trade-offs
- Proven ability to hire, mentor, and retain engineers
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed environment
- Proficient in English
