Plus8Soft is a global engineering company delivering outstaffing and outsourcing services for fast-growing startups and established international companies. We build high-performing remote engineering teams across Web, Mobile, Cloud, AI/ML, and DevOps — serving clients across the US, Europe, and beyond.
As we expand into the APAC market, we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager who knows how to open doors, build trust with Western buyers, and close deals for IT outsourcing services. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape Plus8Soft's commercial presence across Asia — with the full backing of a mature engineering delivery organization behind you.
You'll work directly with the founders, operate with high autonomy, and have a real seat at the table as we build our go-to-market motion in the region.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract close — targeting clients in the US and European markets
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across industries including but not limited to: tech, fintech, healthcare, and enterprise software
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outbound outreach, referrals, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Develop tailored value propositions and proposals that match client needs with Plus8Soft's engineering capabilities
- Collaborate closely with the delivery and technical teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client satisfaction
- Represent Plus8Soft in APAC — attend relevant virtual and in-person events, build a local network of decision-makers and influencers
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to founders to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
- Track and report on sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts
Requirements

5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with at least 3 years in an IT outsourcing, software services, or tech staffing environment
- Demonstrated track record of selling to US and/or European clients — you understand how Western buyers evaluate and select IT partners

Fluent English — written and spoken — you can run discovery calls, write compelling proposals, and negotiate contracts entirely in English without support
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to have credible technical conversations with CTOs, Engineering Managers, and Procurement leads
- Self-starter mindset — you are comfortable operating without a large sales infrastructure and can build your own pipeline from scratch
- Experience using CRM tools and outbound sales tooling (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar)
Nice to have:
- Background working within or selling into BFSI, healthcare, or enterprise tech verticals
- Existing network of tech buyers, CTOs, or procurement leads in the US or Europe
- Exposure to outstaffing or dedicated team models — you know how to explain the difference to a skeptical buyer
- Familiarity with remote-first work culture and distributed team dynamics
